Clinical Lead & Senior Physiotherapist
Dana Carelse is our Clinical Lead and Senior Physiotherapist at Rene Seale Physiotherapist Inc. Born and proudly from Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town. She attended Sans Souci Girls’ High School in Newlands and later pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of the Western Cape. She holds a degree in Sport Science (2009–2012), but her true calling led her to Physiotherapy, which she pursued from 2013–2016. She completed her community service in Port Shepstone, KZN. Dana has recently completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy, which focused on Health Risk Behaviors in adolescence and their impact on health in adulthood. She is a driven, focused individual and hardworking, but also loves spending time with her friends and loved ones. Dance was and has always will been her first love, but lately, her focus has been on running. Her goal this year is to complete three 21km races and inevitably concurring a full marathon in the near future. Dana’s work ethic and overall vibrant attitude, adds such a bright nature to our hospital, and is a welcomed presence in a pressured environment where individuals are facing the hardest battles of their lives.
Robyn
Physiotherapist
Robyn Moses (née Hawes) is married with children and grew up in Bo-Kaap. She studied at UCT and graduated in 2012. After graduation, she completed her community service in Barberton, Mpumalanga. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active by running. Her career began at Constantiaberg Mediclinic, where she worked from 2014 to 2016. She has experience in sports, both on and off the field, across rugby, soccer, cricket and touch rugby (this includes 1 cricket World Cup and 2 touch rugby World Cups). Currently, she is a permanent physiotherapist with Rene Seale Physiotherapist. Robyn has developed a special interest in chest physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people recover and improve their quality of life. Her dedication to her profession is matched by her love for an active and social lifestyle. Her years of experience, kind and approachable nature, makes her a welcomed addition to the team. Her ability to communicate with patients and staff, fostering relationships and building report, make her invaluable to our team.
